Black Peel

History of the cellar

WE ARE WINE, OIL, HOSPITALITY AND MORE
Our name tells who we are, the passion and the effort
Our farm is named after our great-grandfather Amadio, known as “Buccia Nera” (Black Skin) for the color of his skin, so dark because it was burned by the sun. For more than five generations, we have identified ourselves with the passion and hard work that working the land requires.

Even today we are the custodians of these hills, of the olive groves and vineyards, which for us represent a collective heritage to be preserved.

We have moved from an era in which knowledge was passed down from father to son, and in which grapes were sold and only one wine was produced for the local market, to an era that combines traditions with modern technologies and new knowledge, preserving biodiversity and respecting natural processes.

Today we guard a precious land, maintaining the alternation of woods, olive groves and orchards, which guarantee us a correct biodiversity and a healthy environment that are the basis of our organic productions, in full respect of nature. Authentic sensitivity for the conservation of biodiversity.
