Package Description

A story about Pinot Noir, the most noble grape variety in the world. A special experience focused on the nuances, sensations, impressions and expressions of this magical grape variety. The two winemakers Massimo and Giuseppe, owners of the company, will talk about this grape variety and its production in Oltrepò Pavese, the third largest producer in the world, before moving on to the tasting of four wines based on Pinot Noir, paired with local cured meats and appetizers.

History of the Cellar

"The word “mission” might perhaps seem exaggerated and out of place, even offensive (but there is no officialdom or religious faith involved). However, in the lines below we hope to convince you that it is the best term to summarize our work. There is no doubt that the ultimate goal of the farmer, like that of any other worker, is economic, but it is not the only one, nor even the most important. We are farmers, agriculturists, oenologists, agronomists, we are cellarmen, tasters, sellers, but, first of all, we are men who work, and we do it in close contact with the land. And together with her we toil, sweat, joke, laugh, cry... and with her we share the credit for the fruits we obtain, but above all, if we respect her, she respects us. Our passion combined with the wonderful things that nature offers us, and that we preserve every day, makes it possible to produce grapes that become that nectar that so many have sung the praises of, from Euripides to Ovid, from Shakespeare to Baudelaire, from Hemingway to Dalì to Fellini."
