History of the Cellar
"We are in the heart of the Piglio hills, an area of high and medium hills, districts and enchanting landscapes in the province of Frosinone, on the slopes of Mount Scalambra, facing the Tyrrhenian Sea... welcome to Ciociaria, in its historic area of vocation for the production of Cesanese del Piglio DOCG wines. In 2002, friends and families with ties to the local land came together to found “Pileum”. Over the years this company has grown using modern and technologically advanced facilities and producing ever elegant wines with the utmost respect for the ancient winemaking tradition of Cesanese in its territory of origin.
