The Gaffino winery located in Ardea, a town near Rome, in Lazio, was founded in the 60s by Luigi Gaffino. The Gaffino family has always maintained an artisanal approach to winemaking and particular attention to the selection of grapes and respect for natural ripening times. The land on which their vineyards rest, thanks to its volcanic composition and its proximity to the sea, allows for the production of wines characterized by a notable structure and a marked minerality.
