History of the cellar
For me, wine is an ancient world, always new.
It is a constantly evolving relationship with the three generations of farmers who preceded me: my great-grandfather Giacinto, who founded the company; my grandfather Angelo who learned to choose the best positions to plant the vineyards; my father Livio and his brothers Giacinto and Mariano, who taught me the trade and had the extraordinary opportunity to cultivate the most important cru of Monforte d'Alba, Bussia.
Wine flows in my family's past, but it has found its future in me.
It represents what I have been and guides me in what I will do tomorrow, aware that there is no "right" path to take, but "my" path. And I know I can live it with that wonderful freedom that these hills have always inspired in me.
