This is a new experience we have created for those who love Sports Cars, Tuscan wine and good food.
The tour will last 90 kilometers through the most famous roads and villages of Tuscany with a stop in San Gimignano where you can taste prestigious wines and reserves of Tenuta Torciano combined with a four-course lunch in a location unlike any other, the Lunch in the Spiral Vineyard. This tour will start directly from your hotel where your Ferrari will be delivered; there you will meet our guide who will accompany you during this unique experience. After a short briefing on your car where the gearbox technology and the performance of your car will be explained to you, finally you will be ready to start the engine! Afterwards you will reach the Heart of the Black Rooster Castellina in Chianti where you can admire the particularity of this small town surrounded by hills and vineyards. This is where the Chianti classico Gallo Nero comes to life.
The end of the tour will be at Tenuta Torciano Winery where you will go to have an exclusive lunch of various courses where the main ingredient will be the truffle of our Tartufaia. The owner Pierluigi Giachi will welcome you and will guide you through the visit of our cellar and our vineyard explaining the history of the family dating back to 1720.
History of the Cellar
"Tenuta Torciano, currently celebrating its 301st year as a premium winery, was founded in 1720 when the family of original owner Giachi, Bartolomeo Giachi, passed down the art of winemaking to his son Emanuele who, in turn, passed on the skills to his son Gaetano, then to his son Angelo, then to Alfredo Romano and finally to Pierluigi Giachi. Today, Tenuta Torciano is run by Pierluigi Giachi, his wife Luciana and their sons Emanuele and Vittoria. This is the thirteenth generation of the Giachi family in the world of wine and is an international luxury winery, specializing in fine wines from an established Tuscan wine-growing area, as well as emerging wine-growing areas."
