L'azienda
Produttori del Barbaresco is a renowned wine cooperative located in Barbaresco, Piedmont, famous for producing high-quality Barbaresco wines. Founded in 1958 by a small group of local winemakers and under the guidance of Don Fiorino Marengo, the village priest, the cooperative was born with the aim of promoting the Nebbiolo grape variety, the basis of Barbaresco, which is one of the most prized and ancient in Italy. This winery today brings together about 50 winemakers, who cultivate vineyards in some of the best areas of the municipality of Barbaresco. The hectares of vineyards are divided between different “cru” or “additional geographical mentions”, that is, parcels of land that give the wine unique characteristics thanks to the particular climatic and soil conditions. The winery’s philosophy is focused on the quality and purity of the wine, reflecting the peculiarities of the territory without overly invasive interventions. The cooperative produces both the basic Barbaresco, an elegant and accessible wine, and a range of Barbaresco Riserva from individual crus, highly appreciated for their depth and complexity.Localizzazione
